My name is Pety Smith. My colleagues, (Juan, Holly, Michelle, Maria and Robert) are all ex-auto and health  insurance industry employees, with a combined 93 years of experience in the industry. I myself  am a retired health insurance executive  that worked for 8 years at a large insurance company. I have a total of 16 years experience in the industry, having worked as a Claims Adjuster, Injury Settlement Negotiator, Claims Manager, SIU/Fraud Investigator, and Compliance Officer……We  will use our insider knowledge to provide you tips and expose auto industry secrets on all aspects of automobile insurance claims and coverages. We can provide a unique inside look at how insurers operate.

We always treated our customers fairly and want to help make sure you are treated fairly. However, please keep in mind that being treated fairly according to the law does not guarantee that you will get what you want. We have handled all types of health and auto insurance claims and coverages.

Neither one of us is an automotive or repair expert or doctor but we will give you advice on how insurers handle complex repair issues in a series of posts on our blog. Please keep in mind that every state has its own set of laws pertaining to rules of the road, liability, and insurance. No one is an expert on every state. Our combined experience makes us mostly familiar with the laws in 45 of the 50  states, with the exception of Alaska, North and South Dakota, Montana and Hawaii.
